In today's world and in times past collaboration and partnering has been an instrumental strategy.  Partnering helps us to grow, learn, change and exchange ideas.  Even the Bible endorses partnering based on the scripture that says, "Where two or three are gathered, I am there."

I want to introduce to you a mother/son partnership, which currently launched a new clothing line.  The clothing line is called FaithWalk. The new line is created to encourage others to save themselves and to take control of their own destiny.

Renae Parker Benenson is a Mom, certified Chaplin (spiritual listener and encourager), writer and co-founder of FaithWalk.  William Marshall Parker II is a Son, entrepreneur, writer and co-founder of FaithWalk.  Together they compliment each other and have found support for their individual and collective growth and development.

They started FaithWalk because they get it.  They have figured out that their life is to get better spiritually, emotionally, financially, intellectually and physically it will be because they have prayed to God and believe that the Creator will equip them for the journey and fill them with unfathomable power to be and to do more than they can ever imagine.

The Way It Is

In life, people take things a certain way. Most comprehend the point exactly as it reads or as it is heard, while others take the same text and rip it apart based on what's inside them. Yesterday I posted a note about my 5000 friends on Facebook, like I said above, most comprehended my exact point while others took offense and removed themselves.

As much positivity and productive words of encouragement that I bring, what would piss a person off that much? Is it the fact that I promote my business regularly, or maybe that I use GOD too much and people are used to hearing me playing hip hop which shows no love to GOD. One of my friends said "everybody wants to be a motivational speaker on FB, another associate sent me a FB message saying that "you only except the friends that hold your nuts". It's truly unbelievable how people are in this life. As my profile states, I'm a humble person, thankful for GOD's gifts. Social Networking tools like FB, myspace, and Twitter allow you to see the personal side of an individual. I praise GOD for my position and I don't regret anything. So I'm not ashamed to be me, I've been blessed to spin music on radio for 10 years. Over that time I've gained a few fans that appreciate what I've done, and I'm grateful. I'm not looking for any comments to stroke my ego. I write and share DM's as a way of tithing. I take time out of my morning to try to encourage whoever needs it.

I can only be who I am. Yes 90% of dj's and anybody in the so called spotlight are arrogant and they boast. That confidence isn't bad, it shows a belief in one's talent and if you don't believe in your GOD given talent nobody will.

In concluding, this is the way life is.
Your intent could be for good, but there will always be people that take things the total opposite. It happened to Jesus, so I'm in great company. So I thank Bill Cosby for one of my favorite quotes "I don't know what the keys to success are, but the keys to failure are trying to please everybody"

As I said earlier, I don't need any comments to stroke my ego, so please don't post any, Just take this message and know that this is The Way It Is.
