"God Bless the Dream, the Dreamer and the Result."

FaithWalk Clothing by William Renae

In today's world and in times past collaboration and partnering has been an instrumental strategy.  Partnering helps us to grow, learn, change and exchange ideas.  Even the Bible endorses partnering based on the scripture that says, "Where two or three are gathered, I am there."

I want to introduce to you a mother/son partnership, which currently launched a new clothing line.  The clothing line is called FaithWalk. The new line is created to encourage others to save themselves and to take control of their own destiny.

Renae Parker Benenson is a Mom, certified Chaplin (spiritual listener and encourager), writer and co-founder of FaithWalk.  William Marshall Parker II is a Son, entrepreneur, writer and co-founder of FaithWalk.  Together they compliment each other and have found support for their individual and collective growth and development.

They started FaithWalk because they get it.  They have figured out that their life is to get better spiritually, emotionally, financially, intellectually and physically it will be because they have prayed to God and believe that the Creator will equip them for the journey and fill them with unfathomable power to be and to do more than they can ever imagine.

Keep The Faith

by: Sarina Cliff

On any given day we are bombarded by messages from Spirit. If we would just learn to behold….listen, pay attention, look and watch for the signs, we will be pleasantly surprise. There are always signs.

Today as I was out engaging in my morning exercise, I crossed paths with a caterpillar, a friend and a stranger. I did not really want to take a walk this morning but I was compelled to do so.

Last week was hectic. I got off track because of shifting priorities at work. After I had completed those priorities, I promised to return to my regularly scheduled program. To be intentional about the things that mattered to me. In the past, I would blame others, beat myself up and give in to self defeat whenever I got off track. I would call me a failure rather than accept I was just busy. Today I just say disappointment happens. I take the detour and then get back on track. I am strengthening muscles I forgot I had.

I am glad I stayed on track to witness the caterpillar. It reminded me that I was on my way to becoming something greater. My friend reminded me that Spirit is always at work. If we learn to surrender to the unknown detours, (her stopping to get gasoline at an out of the way gas station and my decision to walk more blocks than normal), we will meet our destiny and receive more than we can ever imagine. The stranger reminded me that angels do exist and you never know when you might entertain one. Our meeting was truly serendipitous. I had never seen this person before. Yet as I passed him it was obvious that he wanted to be seen. It was even more obvious that he needed to tell me that he was carrying “his Bible”. So what was so unique about that? It was Sunday and there is a church that meets just down the street. What did this mean?

The compelling factor about this chance meeting is that he was of the Bahai faith. Recognizing this moment to be different from all other moments, I asked him to give me a word for today. Immediately he shared this wisdom… (a paraphrase)…The world is entering into a paradigm shift. Consequently people are groaning and traveling in pain together. The manifestation of this new world order is close. Though painful, we will get there. It will take work and cooperation. Change does not come without risk and effort.

Hmmmph, that’s timely wisdom, I said. And he nodded. But what am I to do on a personal level? Work on your individual issues that are causing you to live without hope. If each individual works to free him or her self, we will be prepared for this new world order. Things will work together for good because of the new person we will become. I said to him delighted, I am on the right path! He encouraged me to continue on that path. We said more pleasantries to each other and then we went our separate ways.

It dawned on me as I was headed home. I am that caterpillar preparing to become a butterfly. Despite and even because of the detours, I must stay on my path. I never know who Spirit will send to empower and encourage me to let my life speak. We are on a powerful journey. I am on a powerful journey. It is risky and it is challenging. It’s imperative that we be open to moments of grace. May those who are of like mind stay connected, inspired and intentional.
